Summer is here...and we think it's about time!

This week we are bringing you a style post featuring an American company called Islamically Designed Store, run by business women Malinda Sargent.

The company sells an impressive variety of items and we have got two scarves plus a lovely black eyeliner to show you. The scarves, one a lovely maroon colour, and the other a gorgeous blue are perfect for the summer weather and to team up with patterned outfits, or to colour block with other plains. We all know how difficult it is finding a plain scarf to go with a vibrant maxi dress, or harems pants, so we were delighted to find the IDS has a great range.

Above, Ade is wearing the Maroon scarf layered on top of a black one. The scarf is quite silky in material, sourced from Turkey and made out of Karaca. I would say layering is the best option. You might be able to wear it with just a simple bandana underneath, however if you have too much hair to cover then this is practical. The store has one red one left at the moment but will hopefully be getting more in soon!

The black scarf was worn in a wrap style, and then the maroon one pinned on top loosely to give it full affect. It is so soft and stunning especially for a formal outfit.

The blue scarf is bigger and more adaptable. It is crinkled, which I like, although you can always iron these out if your wish. It is a gorgeous sky blue colour , that screams 'summer Im here!', and again, super soft to the touch. It is available in lots of lovely colours, check them out here , for a great price of $10.99

Below is the eyeliner that the company also sells.called Noor Kajal It looks like a lipstick, which is quite savvy, and is very nice and dark when you wear it. For full effect, and maximun stay of the eyeliner, I wore the Urban Decay eye primer underneath, then the eyeliner and it lasted for hours.
